Defination

So friends if we talk about Definition of Software Testing then u will come to see on various books and Internet there are more than hundred definitions but what our need is to understand the basic concept o Software Testing. Basically Software Testing can be explained as an approach driven by Software Tester towards checking any software so that it at least meet the basic requirements of the client and to measure its
1) Correctness
2) Reliability
3) Scalability

Talking about Correctness, we mean to say that how error (Bug) free the software or Website is !!! i.e our software is not error (Bug) prone. To test whether functionality of the software or website is according to clients requirements or not? Friends u might have noticed that i have written (Bug) after error but why ?
Let me tell u there is a difference between Error and Bug but the meaning is same many peoples get confused that its one and the same thing but it is not
Error is a mistake that Developer makes while Developing the software whereas Bug is a fault that occurs while running the software due to the mistake made by Developer.

Now Reliability means that how reliable the software is i.e how less the Software breaks while running.

and Scalability means that how efficient the software is while handling the User interface, it is measured by increasing the number of users operating the Software or website. The point at which the software breaks is our scalability.

Hi all , my main motive behind starting this blog is to help all my friends who all are engaged in Software Testing activities or all who are curious to know more and clearly what Software Testing actually is ? There are many books and Tutorials on internet but some times what happen is that we need to understand it clearly i mean to say in an easy language. so i will try to explain each and every little thing about software testing in an easy to easy way. because many of my friends who had just entered in Software Testing world do not understand many Technical terms, so be a regular follower to this blog and i will put on my best efforts to help every body out there.
